If this secret isn't a troll, then it's obvious that the OP doesn't understand what depression is. As others have pointed out, it is a mental illness that can cause people can do illogical things. It doesn't matter how much therapy or treatment they can afford. Theoretically, a rich person with the access to the best therapists can do more poorly than a poor person utilising less financial means such as utilising online resources to help them cope.

Also, research has proven that money does make any difference in a person's mental health. Good relationships with others, volunteering, the feeling of purpose in life (including having a form of spirituality) are better indicators for positive mental health.
I draw the distinction between 'mental health' and mental illness. One can have a mental illness but still be in good 'mental health' if they have learnt good coping mechanisms for their mental illness.

Regardless of someone's wealth and fame, they deserve compassion. I think a little more in society would go a long way, at the moment.
