I didn’t suspect anything before the article came out. Lots of my friends said they weren’t surprised, always suspected him, etc. So I’m feeling alone here.

I hadn't thought about it at all. Stuff like that always annoys me + it's usually meaningless.

I don't really watch or consume any media Hardwick's involved in but I thought he had the reputation of being one of the Good Guys, so I was surprised.

I was shocked and more than a little devastated. I'd listened to his podcast since it was still in the early double-digits, so that's like... years of my life. And then this.

It's always weird to me when people assume that because they know a person (especially an actor)'s body of work, they know exactly who they really are in their private lives. It's one thing to have a bad vibe about someone (since you can feel that about anyone), but idk. Saying "this actor is good at playing charming/villainous roles, therefore he must be a good/bad person deep down!" tends to come across as pretty silly to me?

I'm surprised at the accusations as well. Gotta say that I kind of don't believe Chloe 100% just because she's been known for drama and bs before she got together with Chris.

Plus his wife, Jaimie Alexander who's apparently been his friend since he was dating Chloe, and like three other ex-gfs have also spoken out in his defense.
