I was pretty surprised that they killed off Carlisle and a bunch of people on screen when I went to see Breaking Dawn. Yeah, it ended up being Alice's vision and all, but it was still pretty up there on the WTF scale. Glad they did it too 'cause the final book sucked ass thanks to Stephenie Meyer's weaksauce reason for not giving us a proper fight scene.

Ahahaha! I stopped reading after Eclipse, but I still saw the movies with my friends who read Breaking Dawn, and they + most of the other theater-goers were like, "UM, THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN BEFORE!?!?" during the final fight. Totally worth the price of admission.

When I went, you could hear the whole audience suck in their breath when they showed Carlisle's head. A couple of girls burst into tears and, when Jane was about to get killed, were screaming, "Kill the bitch! Kill the bitch!". It was amazing.
