Yeah, ia I think this is most people's fandom experience?

When I was new to fandom (wow that was a long time ago) I only read gen. Then I read gen and het for years. Then eventually I found the slashy side of things and switched exclusively to that for 10+ years. Now I seem to be gradually migrating to reading basically everything.
