How old was she? Can't believe nobody told her that's not really appropriate funeral wear.

Seventeen. And, believe me, her mother wasn't going to do anything to stop her kid from showing off how dang pretty she is. Appropriateness isn't a factor in this girl basking in her own ego. It's... been an ongoing issue. Mom and I bit our tongues because a screaming match at a funeral would've been worse.
