Let's also totally ignore that most of soccer fandom hates players like Neymar's drama queen bullshit too, because that would ruin the argument we have going here. That would require actually exploring the fandom and shit, you ain't got no time for that! Memes are easier! Except wait, don't memes that mock Neymar's rolling into the horizon mean the fans are making fun of h... y'know what? No time for logic. Soccer sucks!

I recently asked my little sister the same question. She said it's fun and exciting to watch. I told her I thought it was boring and kinda silly, and she said that she could say the same thing about many of the shows I watch. People just like different things.

At least football/soccer keeps moving the whole time. Baseball and American Football are incredibly boring to watch, IMHO, given how little time is actually spent playing. Especially American Football. Baseball is entertaining in person. Soccer is the only sport I can think of that is fun to watch on tv, at least for me. I haven't actually been watching because I don't watch the World Cup for moral reasons. But I do watch soccer.
