I don't know if I've ever heard an MCR song, mostly knowing of them because of Way's comic book writing, but I am LOLing at the idea of a kid gatekeeping for a band that founded before they were born, which has a front man just a couple months younger than me.

Did you ever read The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys? MCR's music videos for "Na Na Na" and "Sing" take place in that universe.

It's a pretty good series and I really enjoyed it. I recommend watching the videos first since they take place before the start of the comic.
