I had to get used to the fact the my neighbors' kids are always screaming their fucking lungs out like they're being tortured even though nothing is wrong with them.

Oh, I'm used to that. I lived right by a playground for five years and now I'm inured to that particular brand of noise, but I still can't ignore it when someone yells "Help me!".
