My own mileage on this particular series is that it seems clear to both us and them that they will; the 'won't they' bit is off the table. The question now is more "How?" (which might fall under the sort of thing you said you'd like to see).

This, absolutely. Aside from the series being sex-positive overall, it's so refreshing that there's no Phryne-shaming coming from Jack. Yes, he makes a few wry comments about "the modern woman" (and does show flickers of jealousy when old beaux of Phryne show up) but he's not an ass about it. It's refreshing.
