Books: Anything by Robert Cormier but especially The Chocolate War and After The First Death.

Games: This War of Us (Sims meets a war torn country).

Movies: Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father. Requiem For A Dream.

Long Day's Journey Into Night is three hours of a family disintegrating after the youngest son is diagnosed with tuberculosis. Depressing a heck.

The Living And The Dead starts off spooky and ends up miserable.
