When they advertise on their website as (going by OP's post and not seeing the website for myself, obvs) a no-kill shelter or something along those lines? Uh, yes? Of course you have the goddamn right to be surprised they killed and ate your pet??? After they took it and said "No worries we will definitely find Kylo Hen a nice new home where no-one will eat him"???
