You know, I never thought of myself as special, so I figured everyone else thought the same. But the more I came to understand people, I began to realize that at least 75% of the people I encounter think they're just the most creative person they know. And it's not that I begrudge them their opinion of themselves, I begrudge the way they act in regards to that opinion.

It drives me crazy to see people hail the pedestrian as something amazing.

I'm not sure if I agree with the original secret (sometimes people just feel the need to state something themselves, even if they know they're among many), but I definitely agree with this statement.
