130. Well, I don't take art quite that sexually, but it pulls me into such an intimate place that I get really upset if anyone tries to disturb me while I'm trying to finish a painting or even just a drawing. I think that's why artists can sit down & paint for hours upon hours, no food/contact/etc. & just do their work, because of that intimacy.

142. I had to stop reading for a bit at that part. Actually, when they got to the underworld at all, I got really scared. You know, it's like someone could find this book a thousand years later & take it for gospel & create a religion, it's so detailed. I was especially scared of the frail God, since who knows if anything is true? If P.P made something so convincing in a 'children's' book, who's to say the bible weren't just some stories as well?
