106 Lazy characterization happens in every fandom! Other people: don't get put off, there is definitely good fic in KKBB fandom. Eventually someone will write a fic that pushes the balance in the other direction.
116 Anything will become unfunny when enough unfunny people drive it into the ground. The 4-chan, and for that matter the lolcats and the capslock, style of humor isn't mine, but when you give people crappy catchphrases then nonfunny people just repeat them and make them lame, and then we get crap like !!!ELEVENTY-ONE!!1!! which was never funny.

128 I do ship Barney/Robin in canon, but I agree that Barney/Ted is the real BroTP. There's some pretty good fic for it, too.
137 It would totally be the best thing in the history of forever! Too bad Nigel wouldn't let you get away with it.
145 Sokka is awesome. Sokka is also an animated TV character in an alternate universe, so I feel the age difference really doesn't matter.
162 Dude, this place was awash in Iron Man secrets a few weeks ago. Of course some people move on to the cool new thing, but that doesn't mean there's no more Iron Man love. You can't put too much stock in the momentary whims of the crowd of fanboys-fangirls.
