Maybe it's more like human beings are that way? I mean, the list of times where women stan for characters who are hot and also evil, abusive, psychopathic, or generally terrible is uh... pretty close to endless

That is true. Men don't give a damn about any problems a hot/beautiful/very attractive woman may have. They will step over a less attractive, normal, problem-free woman to get to the beautiful, crazy one.

eh, we're all human. you can't transfer all issues through a genderflip, but some are universal. i myself am a cynical misanthrope who sneers at women choosing men that I think are terrible for them...and i'm female. (don't' have a beard, though, if definitely a neck. :)

Everyone has problems. We're complex emotional beings and we all live in the same world.

It's not actually that great to have someone not care about your problems because they think you're attractive. It usually means they see you as a sex object or a romantic ideal first, and not a person. That's not an attainable standard when you're a human being with your own feelings and thoughts.

The secret says that OP thinks men find her hot. It says nothing about ONLY men finding her hot.

Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong - please feel free to correct me if any of this is offbase.

But the secret says that "most of her appeal" is the fact that "she's hot and looks slightly psycho" which is something that "men really, really dig." That doesn't mean that specifically only men find her hot. But it does imply that the primary or most significant reason she's popular is that specifically men find her hot, and that this makes her overrated.

/shrug I don't know the demographic for this show. You might be correct. But the anon I responded to asked about the "only" men aspect, and I merely pointed out that the secret says nothing about exclusivity.

2. I'm a woman and I whole-heartedly dig the combo too.

3. I've never seen the show, but I love Parks & Rec, and I love her interviews, so I cannot comment on her acting in this show in particular.
