I wouldn't say I ship them (because that means, to me, to be actively interested in them as a couple, and I just... don't care enough for that), but I do view Willow as bi. So, sort of same>

Eh. I think seeing her as lesbian and seeing her as bi are both fine tbh.

I definitely prefer Tara over Oz as a ship, just because Oz' departure sucked so much, but you do you.

I do still see her as bi no matter how many times she says the word gay. I think that's probably from the way it was written, just a complete 180 on preference with no self-reflection? I get that she's a sidekick, but it should have been more nuanced than the writers flipping a switch and making her gay.

Yeah, but as someone who is about the same age as Willow, this was a pretty common thing - having a relationship with a girl in college and then immediately declaring you were gay. In some cases, it was true because you'd just never had the chance to even think about dating girls before, and in other cases the person in question would end up identifying as bi. In Willow's case, I would find either plausible.

I go back and forth. I like the idea of Bi Willow. On the other hand, sexuality can be fluid and change. So I think she could have been very gay during the period where she was with Tara (and Kennedy).

What I don't like is denying she loved Oz (or Xander). It was pretty clear those feelings were real.

I do ship her with both Oz and Tara, though. More Tara, but I still am pretty fond of her with Oz.

Yeah, I agree with the secret, but I especially agree with not being here for the denial. Admitting or realizing your sexuality does not negate your previous relationships or feelings. I hated the writers for doing such a disservice to relationships that, to Willow as a character and to me as a viewer, meant a hell of a lot.
