want to speak out against your friend's sexual harassment without losing them forever?? simple:

"I didn't know about it before... I had no idea. But X is a close and dear friend to me, and I believe they are a good person underneath the pressures and ideas of what they have been told to believe about themselves and women by society. I absolutely condemn their actions, and will be working through the underlying issues with X so that they can grow past this and become a better person, one who could never do this kind of thing again."

Condemning people to a lifetime (or 10 minutes, depending on media attention) of shunning doesn't usually change behavior. Active helping and retraining does and should be encouraged.
