OP: I feel that. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if he wasn't the fourth Todoroki sibling and was just some asshole. I just live for the angst. (Also, from what I've seen the theory's based on his quirk, his burns seeming to mimic where Endeavor's flames are, and his hairstyle being similar to the unnamed Todoroki kid? Which still isn't much, but meh)
