Yep. I had one friend who used to constantly complain about me calling a show she liked "stupid" because that obviously meant I thought she was stupid. It was just her way of guilting me because I occasionally suggested a movie to go to while saying I didn't want to see her choice (*gasp* the horror!)

...I never refer to any shows my friends clearly like as "stupid". That's kinda rude? Like, I have friends very into Voltron currently, and I think it's a bad show, but to them I say "all the fandom drama turns me off" which is also true.
The series in the secret was a different case though, it was just a series I enjoyed watching, so I decided to suggest it. I don't know what I'd do if she called garbage some of the series that are my fandoms I'm drawing fanarts for.
