It's more mixed than you'd think. It surprises me. What I don't get are the people going "well it's better on stage. It's about the physical effects." That's great. A good play should still have a good plot...

I once saw West Side Story on Broadway on a school trip. The production was amazing, the choreography, acting, and set design were on point--but I still hate the show itself, and it being a very good production didn't change that. So I really don't understand when people say this dumbass play is better in person; I think they're just overexcited and less critical of the plot.
