I mean, on the one hand I can understand that, Eva could do so much better and pretty much every other established couple in the series has more chemistry and less likely to significantly upset each other just by being themselves.

On the other hand, we wouldn't have Elely otherwise, and she's a much more interesting character than either of her parents.
