Generate harassment? The anti-anti blogs I've seen encourage people to avoid the people because of their tendency towards harassing and trying to shame individuals for their ships. and I've seen one that even reminds people that wishing death is not okay.

The whole idea of some of these (I'm sure there are assholes in the anti anti group but I'm speaking for the sideblogs I've seen) is to advise people to block people that go to absurd lengths to pick fights and show them how to avoid people who spread negativity and report people who break rules.

I apologize if I seem rude or annoying but I've seen some blogs that are dedicated to reporting harassers (including antis) and helping people to avoid them and I feel like its unfair to lump every anti anti blog with proof of antis behavior as "generating harassment and naming and shaming" when many of them place an emphasis on not fighting back with harassment. Some have even extended a hand of help to young antis who are starting to question themselves and the antis as a whole.

The thing is there is a community of people that generally see a danger in what the anti antis do. Some of the discourse is stupid but there's a lot of people trying to get people to stop eating each other alive for preferences and fictional tastes.

I've seen an 18 year old get doxxed by antis for what she said on a blog about characters, having her school , her home address and her name posted publicly with the justification of " 'pedos' don't deserve to feel safe"

These people will attack (the needle in the cookie incident) and even try to drive someone to suicide when decide for whatever reason that someone else online doesn't have the right to feel safe in their own home. All over glorified ship wars.

As long as it doesn't get to doxxing (sharing rl information) I don't think it's wrong to have a sideblog to tell people who these people are and encourage them to be blocked. I can't speak for every anti anti and if someone's actually doxxing people that's fucked up, and many anti anti blogs I follow (I wouldn't follow actual doxxers) agree. (recently a Reylo shipper doxxed another one, and when her actions came out she was told in no uncertain terms by a bunch of anti-antis that it was wrong and she crossed a line.
