Not OP but ngl there's a lot of ships I'd find Very Tiresome as het pairings that would be way more appealing as f/f because of like...how sick I am of a lot of heteronormative tropes. But if you take the same roles and character types in a queer context, then it's not "UHG, the big strong hero and his delicate girlfriend AGAIN, really?' and instead becomes a sweet protective dynamic I can enjoy without having awareness of sexual politics foisted on my fandom fun times. And a long time in fandom has made me sick of some really common m/m juggernaut dynamics in a similar way.
