I don't know if it's calmed down. It's showing up more in BL manga and that's really annoying.

nayrt but the fact that it shows up in Japanese BL manga is absolutely delightful to me. I normally skip a/b/o fics because while I like the concept, most of the stuff out there reads like an awkward 14-year-old's rambling sex fantasy.
