Downloading Youtube Videos

(Anonymous) 2018-07-20 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
Anyone know if there is a way to do that? My usual internet video download program doesn't seem to work on Youtube. And I realized I don't have Night of the Doctor to complete my Who collection.

Probably. Try Googling "how to download youtube videos".

I don't know if this still works, but years ago I downloaded a bunch of videos off YouTube with JDownloader. It's a program that manages direct downloads (like from MediaFire or whatever) and back when I used it I just had to copy the video's url and I would get the option to download the thumbnail, the audio file and multiple versions of the video in all qualities available.

There's a program I have called VideoGET that downloads vids from not only Youtube, but certain other popular video sites. Just make sure all the settings are set to "original" before you download (I have a video that hasn't existed on the web for years, and I found out too late that the dimensions are compressed and glitchy-looking.)

There are also websites, none I know of offhand but probably easy to find with Google, as others said.

https://en.savefrom.net/

input the url into the box. Some of the formats you have to use 'save as', others you click on the download button.
