101. I ship a huge amount of couples in my fandoms, too. It's fun! And means I can read almost any fanfic and enjoy it as long as it's written well. I actually think it's easier than having a true OTP.

104. I was really disappointed with the book's version of Sophie/Howl after seeing the movie. It felt sudden and underdeveloped.
That being said! Diana Wynne Jones DID write a sequel to the book. I haven't read it, but maybe it would help satisfy you?

134. ...If it helps, Princess Tutu has some Ravel pieces in it, and as far as I know (not 100% sure) it came out before Nodame and whatever that is?

If more games lately were less "macho" and focused on war, I'd probably be more motivated to become a true gamer again. Heck, that's part of the reason I play more Japanese games than American ones in the first place. And I'm saying this as someone who enjoyed Gears of War.

I haven't seen Princess Tutu but from what I've heard, they have a good reason for it. Nogizaka Haruka, however, is just a moeblob who's supposedly talented and better than everyone else in everything. She plays Jeux d'eau in the anime. It's terribly unrealistic for her to master a piece like that and play it so casually. All of her strengths is the result of hours of hard work into each of them but they portrait her as someone who can magically do it all effortlessly. It doesn't add up. It irks me to no end to see it taken so lightly.

Oooh, ICK! No wonder you're so frustrated, then! the Ravel pieces in Tutu are just part of the score (and not that piece, I think), and the only time a character is shown playing a classical piece he actually doesn't play it too well because he's obviously a student. Having a character learn a difficult piece effortlessly just seems Mary Sue-ish. :\
