NO. STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. IT'S NOT GOING TO FUCKING HAPPEN.

She's an already made Mary Sue, the Joker (teenybopper squealing ones, not the stable ones) fangirls don't have to create their own (even though they will) she's already there!

Well, the original Harley Quinn is NOT a Mary Sue at all...

I know people have been turning her into one in their sparkly fanfiction, but no "official" version of (B:TAS or comics DCU) Harley is a Mary Sue. THE DEFINITION OF THE TERM CANNOT BE WARPED ENOUGH TO FIT HER. Harley is:

1. Mentally ill
2. In a one-sided and brutally abusive relationship with a disgusting nutcase
3. Utterly pathetic to the point of being played for laughs and rarely taken seriously
4. Only one person (Poison Ivy) actually gives a shit about her

Absolutely not a Mary Sue; more an Anti-Sue. Batman himself or, hell, the Joker fit the definition more. The point of her character is that only a delusional person would actually pursue the Joker romantically...the Joker's "true love" is, and will always be, Batman. Not really romantically, but he's the closest thing to a romance the Joker has ("Batman...darling." Lex: "You can mess with Batman's city all you want, Joker, but he'll never ask you to the prom!" etc.).

(IMO putting her in the Nolan movies without Joker makes no sense at all, though. You could debate whether or not she could theoretically have been changed and worked into a future movie if the Joker had come back, and there are arguments for both sides, but what's the point now?)

I figured her being the female component of the joker and her having all those certain qualities that just seem to fit with his character (contrived y/y) qualified her as a Mary, but you're right, she is more Anti.

Actually, she seems like a Villain Sue to me, but Anti works as well.
