Yeah, except for all the people he killed who weren't criminals, like the FBI agents, FBI agent's fiance, and whoever the hell else happened to get in his way.

*eyeroll* No, Light did kill innocents, because he got more wrapped up in playing god/having a power trip than his ~ideals of justice~. With that said, though, the secret-maker IS incorrect in saying he killed people for being lazy -- that was Mikami. Light killed criminals, and innocent people who got in the way of his killing criminals. But that's just a factual/canon error which is forgivable in someone who doesn't actually know the series, not a ~horrible insult to Light's morality~.

Well, it is true that we all have a little criminal inside each of us.

...how does that make it okay, exactly? Vigilante justice (especially taken to such an extreme) is the anathema to life in a free society. Aren't people who take the law into their own hands with life and death a lot more dangerous than ordinary criminals?
