I've seen so many so-called plot holes that boiled down to "characters didn't turn OOC for plot convenience" or "they didn't think of something in a dramatic situation I could think of while sitting in comfort at home".

Like, sure, characters don't always act the most logical way, and you're totally free to call them stupid for not thinking of something, but that doesn't make it a plot hole.
