there are both good and bad old movies, though.

And people can't even agree on which are which

Of course, but many wannabe critics like to just shit on any movie that's older than ten years because "ew the fashion" or "ew the effects" or "ew the outdated technology."

the closest I get to that is with some really old movies, it's "ew the racism/sexism/homophobia/etc."

There's SO many good older movies, and a lot of interesting bad ones too. I wish the big streaming services would open up their catalogues to a much broader range of movies, both age and theme wise. I bet a "vintage & art" alternative streaming site would get A LOT of viewers.

"FilmStruck is unavailable in your current location." ;_;

Thanks anyway.

I know people who look at me as if I've grown two heads if I suggest a movie older than ten years.

Thank you for recommending this Good Bad Flicks to me!

Really?

I've seen all kinds of nostalgia for 90s movies lately and most of those are now 20+ years old now. Home Alone and Edward Scissorhands are 28 years old. The Sandlot, Groundhog Day, and Dazed and Confused are 25 years old. Mulan and Lindsay Lohan's The Parent Trap are 20 years old. The Matrix, 10 Things I Hate About You, Toy Story 2, and Galaxy Quest are 19 years old.

Really.

Unfortunately, some people don't care. Older than ten years = yuck. These people I knew wouldn't be concerned over things like nostalgia either. I don't get it...
