Gallop did a poll in 2015 and 3.8% of people polled identified at LGBT.

(Anonymous) 2018-07-25 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
Okay... and did they poll the whole planet? Including countries/places where people don't just say, "Yep I identify as LGBT."

(Anonymous) 2018-07-25 08:52 am (UTC)(link)
no they polled americans lmao istg why are those people so self centered

(Anonymous) 2018-07-25 01:05 am (UTC)(link)
Yet Gallup's poll in 2016 indicated that 4.1% of people identified as LGBT. And a 2017 poll indicated that 20% of millennials identified as LGBT.

The trend is pretty clear. Identifying as LGBT isn't the same as having same-sex experiences (which is telling on both sides) but as LGBT acceptance increases, so do non-straight identities.

I don't know if that kind of thing works. I'm LGBT but if asked by some random poll what my sexual orientation is, I'd opt to not say.

(Anonymous) 2018-07-25 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
And I bet a lot of other LGBT people would opt to not say, way more than people who identify as straight and have no trouble saying so.

That is not even close to being strong enough evidence to conclude what you want to conclude here
