Who are your all-time favorite characters in any media? Why do you love them so?

Vegeta. He is my favorite asshole of all time.

Steve Rogers. He is my favorite good guy of all time.

Donna Noble. She was the greatest Doctor Who companion of all time and she deserved so much more than she got.

Yes, Donna! Bill slightly edges her out for me, but Donna is amazing, and her ending was terrible. I will never forgive RTD for that.

Yoshitaka Waya, Hikaru no Go. Because he is a good friend, and honestly very relatable. In a story about prodigies and geniuses, Waya's just your "average" talented and hard-working kid. His struggles were the ones that I personally found the most inspiring: he recognised his pragmatism for cowardice, and he started intentionally seeking out... well, challenges he knew he wouldn't have an easy time overcoming.

I also think he's adorable, and I love his relationships with pretty much all characters he interacts with. Including Akira, haha.

Bender (I'm not even sure why, I was obsessed with him when I was ten and just never quite grew out of it, idk)

And Raziel who's my current avatar. I got into LoK when I was twelve and was just so fascinated by his design/tragic storyline/personality/amazing ability to fuck everything up while trying to fix everything.

Sauron. I think he's interesting, and I love speculating about his character.

Thor. He's hot. But also his gusto and joy for life is very appealing. And the fact that he's so old and an actual god means there is a lot to explore with him.

Obi-Wan Kenobi. Another complex character that I find really interesting.

Kira Nerys. I love her growth and her whole journey on DS9.

The Doctor. Ancient and yet still enjoys life and the journey. Each version is unique and similar at he same time.

Elrond. He's been through so much, and yet he still manages to be happy and balanced and wise.

Galadriel. I like her journey from prideful younger elf to wiser ancient elf.

Boromir. He's interesting to me because he does the wrong thing for the right reasons. I get him, and I probably would have done the same thing: tried to take the ring to help people.

Celebrimbor. Another character who does the wrong thing for the right reasons. He's entirely tricked by Sauron. But he never goes evil. And when he figures things out, he gives up the Three and sacrifices himself. Interesting to me.

Buffy Summers. I love her journey from young, naive slayer to boss slayer.

G'Kar. Oh man. I love a lot about B5, but G'Kar is the best. His whole journey. Amazing. And really meaningful and inspirationa.

Gohan is my all time favorite male character. He’s just such an utter sweetheart.

Anna from Frozen is my all time favorite Disney princess. I think Jasmine is my fave Disney character all time. Still deciding.

Spider-Man is my all time favorite Marvel superhero. Supergirl for DC.

MJ is my favorite out of Spidey’s love interests. NO ONE COMES CLOSE TO HER. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE.

For young villains, it’s Azula by a mile. So scarily efficienciet.

I know there’s more but I can’t remember who else..

Hercule Poirot in the books and the David Suchet version of Poirot. He's just a good character, very likeable. Caddie Woodlawn, a pioneer girl who could do most anything. Karana from Island of the Blue Dolphins, another good female character. Ralphie from A Christmas Story. Kylo Ren and General Hux from Star Wars, good villains.

Martin and Ellen Brody, and Matt Hooper from Jaws. Their dynamic, all of them, is just awesome.

Edith and Thomas from Downton Abbey. Thomas for his snarky, wounded ways, and Edith for just being so damn classy. And kind.

Bucky Barns. OMFG.

Hamish McBeth. He was just so damn *cute*, and clueless, and snarky and sweet and vulnerable....

Harvey Cheyne from Captains Courageous. He grew up to be a pretty decent guy.

Jago, the Atevi Assassain's Guild guard and lover of Bren Cameron in C J Cherryh's 'Foreigner' series. She's smart, tough, kick-ass, curious, and willing to date a weirdo human.

Signey Mallory, starship captiain in the 'Merchanter/Alliance' universe, Cherryh again. OMG, she is...a horrible person, a moral person, in her own way, touch as nails, wily, courageous.... i love her.

Sam'n'Dean. What can i say. I love those jerks.

Steeeeeeve. That boy. He just makes me smile. :D

Captain Sisko. Cause he's the man. He's so intense, and so subtle, and such a badass.
