Ha -- as a kid, I used to cringe at how he kissed all the women. I would have wished that my family could go on the show EXCEPT I thought that was so disgusting and couldn't understand why he did that. Only later, when I was older, did I notice that the women all seemed to be into it! Still... creepy. You know they couldn't possibly ALL have been crushing on him.

My mom used to wonder about that too. Maybe by the time a family made it on the show all the woman had resigned themselves to being kissed.

I will admit I thought he was kind of hot though.

I wonder if they could opt out behind the scenes?? I don't remember anyone NOT getting kissed, though. Like I think I looked for that to happen.

In retrospect, I can see it, but at the time I was just all EWWW OLD MAN

Yeah I watched it a lot and I don't remember anyone not getting kissed or the camera cutting away. It's a relic of its time I guess.
