What media do you think has aged the worst?

Could be for wahtever reason (technical, moral, the people involved).

The Hobbit for when it was made has aged horribly.

Yes, so much this. Which is sad, given that, for all their problems, the LOTR movies, although older, have aged much better.

Agreed. Even if you leave aside the writing, plotting and pacing issues of The Hobbit, the films don't look nearly as good as LOTR.

Harry Potter hasn't aged particularly well for me. It really feels like children's stuff now, and not particularly great children's stuff when it comes to the movies.

Superman Returns, which I quite liked when it came out and still kind of like, hasn't aged well given that Kevin Spacey is in it.

I'm not saying I remembered Land of the Lost as a masterpiece, but I remembered it as interesting and mysterious as opposed to a hot mess of ridiculously bad acting that took place on tiny sets apparently made out of styrofoam. I'm sure the main problem is that I grew up, but you did say any reason...

I forget how far special effects and sets have come until I watch something old with obvious fog machines and "spooky" green coloured lighting. I think we just never questioned that the backgrounds were painted and we never got walk-through shots of a whole house on TV because everything we watched was like that.
