Periods suck. But at least I know when they are going on so I can use a pad/tampon.

But man, sometimes I ovulate so bad the discharge shocks me. Like I had some discharge today that was so large I said outloud in the bathroom "Look at that!".

I remember the first time I had a 'clot' when periods were all new to me and I ran to my mother freaking out and going "Mum, MUM, some of my insides just came out, what's happening, am I dying?" Ugh.

I am so glad I had a hysterectomy.

Hard same. The hot flashes and the fact that I no longer have any heat tolerance suck (especially since I live in Florida...), but I'd gladly take a week-long hot flash over having even one more period like the ones I used to have.

Honestly, nonny, there are bathroom visits where I just sit and wait until the unholy booger drops. There's nothing worse than when it doesn't exit the body cleanly.

Every couple of months or so, this weird, boil-like thing will pop up on the side of one of my hips. Trying to pop or lance it doesn't do anything, and it's super sore and swollen and just burns constantly. :( It's always in the same spot (fullest part of the hip), I put a tape measure around myself today and this one's in the exact same place but on the opposite hip from the last one, which left a scar.

I'm not overweight but do have wide hips, and always sleep on my side, so maybe it's a pressure thing? Idk. I feel gross. :(

It could be. Maybe try a small ring pillow or even just a folded tee-shirt or something, to keep that part of your hip off the mattress? Or get a gel pad thing that will keep that part of your body cooler as you sleep. It does sound like pressure might be a factor.

I've definitely be trying the folded t-shirt tonight! Thank you. I've been trying to sleep on my back because of the pain but always seem to end up on my side eventually. This on top of my Bartholin's cyst popping up again, I feel like a gross bag o' lumps.

I can *not* sleep on my back, at all. So I totally get that.

I don't know what the hell I got into, but I cannot stop farting. And it is goddamned rancid. I tried going to the bathroom, I tried gas-x, nothing's helping. I guess I just gotta weather this one. And desperately apologize to my partner, lmao.

Beans? Fiber supplement/food product? Milk/dairy? Prunes? Broccoli rabe?

I have uterine fibroids (CAT scan diagnosed), one of which I can see and feel in the morning before I shit.
