Gamora/Nebula? I just... why? They've made it so utterly clear that both women regard each other as SISTERS. I can't see any scenario where they'd somehow drop the relationship they've had since childhood and start viewing one another as romantic prospects.

ayrt - OP suggests an 'enemies->friends->lovers' progression, not an 'I want the siblings to bone'. Different dynamics. I was commenting mainly on the bit where they didn't even acknowledge that Gamora and Nebula are siblings.

I'm totally with you on that, but...that's fandom. Improbable ships everywhere.

Pretty much this.

Regardless of how you feel, somewhere, somehow, somebody ships it.

OP

I kinda saw them in this movie for the first time and started shipping without realising that they're sisters, though it was probably obvious and I was just dumb.

They're not biological sisters but they were raised together by Thanos.

Like Thorki wasn't a thing in this very fandom?

And didn't also usually fall into the "enemies to friends to lovers" trope, when it didn't fall into the "lovers to enemies to friends to lovers again" or the "friends to enemies to hatesex" tropes.
