Honestly that film's entire existence annoys me in some ways because nobody comes out of it looking great really but it felt like the studio REALLY wanted that particular plot and warped it/pasted it over the MCU even if it meant trying to hammer the square block through the star-shaped hole.

And I say that as someone who mostly enjoyed the film!

I say this a lot but mostly I'm just kinda sad Cap is the only one of the Big Three who only really got 2.5 films to himself. Even though Hulk was in Ragnarok it wasn't as intrusive as basically turning a Thor film into an Avengers film.

And then in Avengers 3 he has less screen time than friggin' Vision, Wanda, and Strange. :/

Yeah! I mean one of my other favourites is Loki and I went through a period of being salty because he barely featured in any of the publicity (I know for obvious reasons, but he had just about the same screen time as Wong for example...) BUT if anything Cap got screwed over even more because he featured prominently in everything pre-film and yet iirc only gets around 10 minutes, if that?

But in terms of Cap I think (hope) he's going to get loads of time in A4. Especially if what we're all suspecting will happen, happens.

He is in the movie around 6 1/2 minutes.

The film makers said that was a deliberate choice to give more screen time in this movie to many of the characters who were going to be gone at the end. And the next one would have more focus on the others (I believe Steve and Natasha were specifically mentioned).

Too bad Iron Man didn't get that memo.
