I don't believe this for a second, but I always thought the theory that there are giant alligators in the New York sewers to be hysterically funny.

My teacher told the whole class that in grade school as truth and I believed it for years. (I also believed that there was marijuana growing down there until I had a serious talk with myself about chlorophyll.)
