Re: What unpopular opinion will you NEVER tell anyone?

NAYRT, and I don’t agree with them that non-binary people aren’t a thing, but you can absolutely have dysphoria and not be trans. Dysphoria is a feeling that your body is wrong somehow.

I dunno if I’d call you non-binary unless your problem with your breasts (which does not sound fun, sorry you have to deal with that. If you have medical coverage see if claiming you want to avoid breast cancer would get you surgery maybe?) is that people assume you’re female when they see them. But it’s not like you’re hurting anyone by saying you’re nb so it’s not my business.

I’m a cis woman with big boobs but I’ve hated my body since puberty for not being feminine enough. It sucks, but it’d probably be way worse if I knew I was a guy and my boobs and voice and stuff told the world otherwise. Hell, I’ve been misgendered a couple times despite being less than five feet tall with long hair, the aforementioned big boobs, and that I basically live in skirts, and it was humiliating and awful.

And yet somehow trans and nb people are supposedly not cis “for attention?” Who the fuck wants that kind of attention for shits and giggles? I’m not gonna question someone who says they’re trans/nb; at worst I’ll assume they’re still figuring sex and gender identity shit out.

Yeah, idk. I've known people who self-harmed and staged failed suicide attempts as a form of getting attention. They have psychological issues, no doubt, but it's still something people do.
