128. Okay, unsurprisingly, there seems to not be much response so...

What's the deal with Pippin-fans? I mean, I am one, have been for years, ever since reading the books, but what makes it a fandom to be glad to've gotten out of? Has there been some recent surge of crazy that I missed? We've been fairly quiet and non-active, and even at our most prolific, were still nowhere near as disturbing as the much more prevelent Legolas fans so...colour me confused.

Well, I was more aiming towards glad to be gotten out of the Lord of the Rings fandom, not the Pippin-centric one.

Pippin's still my favorite <3

And, if you're wondering why I'm glad to be away from the LotR fandom, well. You know those disturbing Legolas fans? I hated them a lot, but I'm pretty sure I was close to being/was "that girl". It's become a part of my childhood I'm glad to have grown out of, for personal reasons.

Actually, I was a squeely Orli fangirl for exactly until the movie came out and I realized that Legolas was not funny, aloof, arrogant, or generally a jerk.

I do recall the large blast of fandom being a bit scary, though.
