109. Considering that the point of secrets is that the person is a little self-concious of posting them in the first place, I think it seems perfectly acceptable. Even if obvious poster hardly ever is obvious to me, even in things that are my own fandoms, it's sort of a duck of the head and a blush.
Honestly, I'm getting tired of people who take F!S as SRS BZNS!
117. My personal movie-canon is basically the backstory of The Killing Joke put into a blender and set to pulp. Ooh, TKJ, thank you for being the best Batman story ever, with the perfect freaking art.
128. LOL! Fantastic! Yeah, I've got a Pippin plushie. Well, two, but one of them was a serious prototype that's tiny, squishy, and doesn't really have a face. What can I say? At the time the movies were coming out, I was just really in the mood to make plushies. I like making things.
That said, much as I love him in the movies, I just reread the books and realised how much better he is in those. Adorable-naive Pip? Well, okay. Snarky, spoiled, sarcastic, self-absorbed, clever Pip? Yes please!
Out of curiousity...what in the world brought this on? As far as I can tell, the fandom, especially his, has been quiet the past several years.
148. I actually wish I'd waited a bit, because, as previously mentioned, I was rereading LotR and on quite a high of that, and I was about three chapters from the end and enjoying wholesome, cheerful hobbitness...and now I can't get my mind out of Gotham.
Lame reason (I would've given a lot to've seen it with my friends back home), but I kind of get where you're coming from.

151. I think you just Don't Get It. A) You do not need to read the comic to see that the Joker would totally **** you up IRL. It is very very clear in the movie. Yeah, that's partially Heath, but it's not because he's OMGSOHAWT (which he always was), but because he gives the character a huge level of this weird charisma. Seriously, almost every. single. person. Who has said any variant of "I'd hit that" is full aware of how that would end. And that it would involve knives. And a lot of blood.
That's why they're secrets, I think. Because as popular as the opinion is, it's still freaking disturbing, and no one can quite pick out why he (the Joker, not Heath) is just so freaking attractive.

162. Worst ever because of Haley Joel Osment? He's a good child-actory (dunno what he's at now, but for a kid that age...he was darned good). Heck, I'm a little insulted, because that's the only movie, ever, that's made me cry. I mean, seriously, seriously cry. Sobbing for half an hour, me and my brother.
167. Wow, that's just...wildly insulting an entire nationality to make one stupid, barely fandom joke. Suddenly, I feel better about being an American (thanks, because living abroad for awhile makes that harder).

I think it's because Nolan just can't write a good female character. I'm not calling sexism on his part because I don't think that's it--I just think he can't write a good, strong woman and knows it, so he doesn't try.
175. Agreed 100%. I'm really not sure if I care about watching the next season at all now. Owen was the only reason I bothered watching Series 2, and while the show picked up like mad during it, it was still all about him. I just love how beautifully flawed he is. I mean, everyone on the show is "flawed" but it seems more self-indulgent than anything. Owen was just simply broken. And getting to see the reasons behind that...that was the absolute most powerful scene for me ever. You see the moment he breaks when he just whispers "Yeah." You see him turn into sarcastic!dick!Owen. And a man who can make me want to cry with the words "Water...from the kettle. Milk. Tea. Milk." Well. Jack and Gwen never made me care that much.

See it now, yes? :D (I wasn't aware to his portraying Jesus in a TV movie prior to making my secret, but everyone's been showing it to me to soften the blow of my blaspheming. XD)
