AYRT: Her tone never changed, though, that was the weird thing.

Another example is that someone called saying "they had news." Again, they sounded happy. Then it turned out someone had died. Although that one I can possibly explain with nervousness - I know sometimes if I go to say something bad, I start laughing. But maybe there's another reason?
