Something I never knew until years after the fact was how seriously Stewart took Star Trek and his role and Trek fans. When a morning news show (Good Morning America?) filmed an episode from the TNG set, Stewart walked off because he thought they were treating Trek as too silly. He assumed Galaxy Quest mocked Star Trek fans and would't see it until Johnathan Frakes told him it wasn't like that at all and he should see it. It's very endearing.

I mean, maybe, but no information has been released indicating that. It seems risky to make big leaps like that with so little information.
