Not a fandom secret, but the PostSecret where the sender (I always pictured him as male, although they could've been a woman) said everyone thought they died on 9/11.

I've always wondered if they used 9/11 to escape a bad situation, if they just took off, or if something else had happened. I also wonder if they've reunited with loved ones since. (IT might not have even been that long after 9/11 at that point. I forget when PostSecret came into being, but I think it was one of the early ones.)
