And I didn't know you liked Neuro, either. XD I just got into it a month or so ago... it is eeexcellent.
IMO if Neuro raped Yako that'd screw up his relationship with her entirely and I doubt that he would want that. He's (obviously) a smarter guy than that. And yeah, obviously sex isn't gonna happen in a Jump series. However, I think an attraction between 'em isn't out of the question at all. (heck, I like to think there's one or will be one. love that pairing <3)

Heh, Neuro's much fun. I started reading, uh. Years ago. At least a year. I feel old XD back when I think at tops we had seven chapters out from Tidah. I'm now oen of the community mods at
*grins* Oh, I agree. Canon or not, I love Neruo/Yako, and feel it would be beyond him to simply rape her, precisely because the points you raise - he's intelligent, and he regards Yako with good, if low, interest. (I also have a fondness for Yako with either Higuchi or Sasazuka. WTF self.) That there is attraction there? I'd say yes. Is Neuro's attraction the same as, say, Yako's? Nawh, he's not human enough for it to be the same, but it's not a one-way street.
...Even though the anime made me lol for how "YAKO LIKES NEURO. NO REALLY. SHE DOES. SHUTUP. SHE DOES. HE KIND OF DOTES ON HER. SHUTUP. TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT. WE'LL SHOW YOU," I felt it was at times.

I actually watched the anime first, so I didn't notice how much more... affectionate they were, hurr. At the same time, I like the way their relationship is in the manga a lot more. It has more depth to it. Also, it makes it so whenever he DOES do something nice for her, it seems huge. XD ( although his cuddling her head in the Hayasaka Brothers arc was kinda like "wow, where did that come from?" Not that I was complaining, but ... )
I'm a Neuyako gal, but Higuchi/Yako is okay too. (And I'm ashamed to admit that Godai/Yako occasionally seems cute to me.)

Heh, yeah, it would be impossible to know without reading some of the manga, at least. I think because the manga gives so much more depth, I prefer it to the way their relationship plays in the anime. (Yeah, I wondered about that too, but I guess it was appropriate enough. Heh, no complaints from this side of the room either, just some confusion.)
Hee, sometimes, I too smile for Godai/Yako. I love that Godai has more to do in the manga, on a by the way note, at least off screen.
The current arc makes me laugh out-loud again, because... well, I think we learn a bit about how much Neuro does "tolerate" Yako from exactly what he can do and doesn't despite torturing her all the time.
