me2 anon! death stranding looks fun but..... silent hill is a formative series and i'm desperate for another good entry into the franchise.

Yes. I was...so freaking horrified that they actually just stood there and watched. That they had zero empathy, or sympathy, or any emotion of any kind, really. I kept thinking maybe they'd done it accidentally or something, but claimed to have meant it for 'prison cred' but.... No.

TOTALLY! Theirs was my favorite of the new background stories.

Sometimes I wonder if it's just because I love Stranger Things and I, Tonya since their flashbacks are basically 80's nostalgia + figure skating insanity, but the performances of the sisters at both ages are fucking great and when we learn *SPOILER* that the stupid glass joke originated from neither of them but another nice waitress that worked with them (there's something about her being black that adds to it too, maybe as simple as Jenji pointing out the history of whites stealing culture from black people) that really put a nice bow on it. Their ends at each other's hand as everyone else just decide to play kickball is damn poetic.

I could watch a whole mockumentary true crime miniseries about them, honestly.
