Thanks, OP! I appreciate it.

No, I get it. There's enough subtext that they could justify it and it's been teased a lot. I do sometimes wonder what it'd be like if it was canon on the show, but for me, it's just been too long and I'm worried the writers will somehow screw up their relationship. That's not to say I'd stop tuning in 'cause canon Destiel would hopefully equal more Cas and I'm basically still watching the show just for Cas.

It's okay about the mistake and a lot of people are in the "still watching the show for Cas" boat, me included. I still watch for Rowena, too and Jack was a delightful surprise this season. However, it really should have ended in the 11th season. Yes, I like the show past season 5 and think it was good enough to justify its existence. No, it was never as good as it was in the 5th season but the show under Gamble and Carver had some interesting ideas and great writers, Ben Edlund especially.
