I idolized Elizabeth when I was a teenager and going through depression - I know it may seem silly to people, but this fictional character was a huge inspiration to me and helped me get through the day when I was struggling.

I just wish the show had done better by her, it's always rankled that her diplomacy and language skills were hardly utilized. that's basically Daniel's skill set and he was an integral part of SG-1, but Elizabeth was sidelined like they couldn't have two prominent female characters featured in each episode.
