I did that with my very first multi-chaptered fic, and then changed my mind and took them out later.

I do this sometimes. It can be a struggle to find the right lyrics every time, but when you do, it feels great.

I'm doing this with a fic right now! It's so satisfying when you find just the right lyrics.

Isn't that pretty typical? People probably haven't commented on it because it's not particularly unusual.

That's pretty normal. I go for pretentious 19th century lines of poetry, myself. *shrugs*

I'd guess nobody is commenting on it because using lyrics as titles is very common. Still, as long as you're having fun, that's all that matters.

I do that, it's a good way of finding titles, and it pleases me even if no one comments on the lyric choices.

(if we're in the same fandoms there's a chance I have noticed your song lyric titles even if I haven't said anything about them!)

I sang your secret, OP.

Also, I used to give my chapters ridiculous names, and the whole thing ended up sounding like a panic at the disco cd.

This is a great secret. As a musician, I actually pay attention to lyrics if they appear in a chapter. But, I don’t comment on them unless explicitly asked to do so.
