Obviously, it's not true of every single actor from a famous family. I mean, Nicolas Cage alone proves that.

But it also does happen, and if - for instance - OP has seen Billie Lourd in things and not liked her, I can see how it might enter their mind.

Carrie Fisher was a d-list actress outside of Star Wars. You’re greatly overestimating how big of a deal she she was.

Her daughter might not even exist if not for Carrie Fisher's Star Wars experience, so honestly it doesn't even fucking matter.
